Transparent Soil

In Scotland scientists have made transparent soil. It took about two years to make. It is made from Naflon, a material that is sometimes used in fuel cells. They mixed Naflon with a watery solution. Amazingly, plants can live in it. It will have impact on many things. One thing that they are doing is seeing how E.Coli effects lettuce roots. They still need to figure out how to reduce the cost of making it.
